Transport and Logistics Press best reporting recognised at Seahorse Freight Association’s Journalist Awards 2022

In celebration of excellence in journalism around the globe, over 160 guests attended the Seahorse Journalist Awards this week in London.

The Seahorse Freight Association’s annual awards ceremony was held for the first time in four years on Wednesday, 7th December 2022. There were ten awards categories: maritime, air, overland, technology, multipurpose and supply chain journalist of the year. The rising star, news, feature and journalist of the year were also recognised.

“It is great to be back after four years, and we are so pleased to have received over 120 high-quality entries from journalists all over the globe specialising in different sectors for this year’s awards,” said Emma Murray, Seahorse Chair and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Meantime Communications.

She added: “We must not take that great reporting for granted. It is time we energised as a community to actively encourage the NextGen of writers to join our industry. Murray said the Seahorse Association, which recently registered as a not-for-profit organisation run by a new committee, was inviting ideas to help encourage new reporters to join the industry.
