The coolest nanny celebrated her 100th birthday by skydiving

Centenarian Skydiver

Eleanor Cunningham, a woman from Howes Cave, New York, celebrated her 100th birthday by skydiving. Cunningham kissed her 7-month-old great-great-granddaughter before suiting up for her jump on 8 November 2014, at Saratoga Skydiving in Gansevoort. Eleanor jumped in tandem with master instructor Dean McDonald who said that Cunningham is his oldest jump partner yet.

Of course, her doctor signed off on the skydiving expedition and he even said that her health makes her more than capable of doing what she loves. It was her third jump, after taking up the sport at age 90.

Eleanor ”Nanny” Cunningham lives now with her granddaughter in their Schoharie County home in central New York.
