I felt like Beyoncé at Romeo Hunte Pop Up launch event in London

I had the privilege of meeting Romeo Hunte, one of the new wave’s most talented American fashion designers. Queen of Pop Beyoncé Knowles and the Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry are two of the stars who wear the brand.

After presenting his most recent collection at the New York Fashion Week A/W 2018, the American fashion designer Romeo Hunte arrived in London to attend his Pop Up launch event at Wolf and Badger – the leading destination for independent designer fashion, jewellery and homewares.

The collection which will be found for a while at the location in Notting Hill and also on W&B website is marvellous. Designed in New York City, the line embodies an aesthetic that is cool, conservative and intricate with a balance of feminine and masculine. It includes Varick Shawl Shearling in cashmere wool, one of the core elements of Romeo Hunte the brand, which is in Beyoncé’s wardrobe. But you can find also the totally surprising Newkirk Backward Cropped Biker Red Jacket, from Romeo Hunte Spring 2018 among many others.

Red is not just a colour, it’s a state of mind

I tried the cashmere wool, worn by Beyoncé, and it felt amazing. More than that, I was lucky enough to have the styling done by Romeo Hunte himself. And what I also want to mention here is that many of the designs made by the Brooklyn born artist are unisex.

Second, I tried the Newkirk Backward Cropped Biker Red Jacket from the Spring collection 2018. I realized that red is not just a color, it’s a state of mind and I enjoy wearing it.
